General Assembly: Death Penalty
Death penalty is a state-sanctioned practice of deliberately executing a person as a punishment for an actual
or supposed crime, and following an authorized, rule-governed process to conclude that the person is responsible
for violating norms that warrant execution.
Historical Committee: Vietnam war
The Vietnam War was a conflict that pitted the communist government of North Vietnam and its allies in South Vietnam, against the government of South Vietnam and its principal ally, the United States. Called the “American War” in Vietnam
At the heart of the conflict was the desire of North Vietnam, to unify the entire country under a single communist regime modeled after those of the Soviet Union and China. The South Vietnamese government, on the other hand, fought to preserve a Vietnam more closely aligned with the West. U.S. military advisers.
UNHCR: Ensuring a Safe Migration for Refugees
For over half a century, UNHCR has helped millions of people to restart their lives. They include refugees, returnees, stateless people, the internally displaced and asylum-seekers. Their protection, shelter, health and education has been crucial, healing broken pasts and building brighter futures.
We can say that refugees are people who leave their native countries to avoid or escape conflicts and/or persecution

UN Women is the UN organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women.
A global champion for women and girls, UN Women was established to accelerate progress on meeting their
Women in the Middle East and North Africa face worse than those in other parts of the world on a range of social,
economic, legal and political measures. Some attribute this underperformance to prevailing gender roles
and perspective.
